Collector and Recycler Information
The California Integrated Waste Management Board has adopted regulations to implement portions of the Electronic Waste Recycling Act of 2003. This landmark legislation established a funding system for the collection and recycling of certain electronic wastes. A key element of the Act that affects e-waste collectors and recyclers is the availability of recovery and recycling payments to approved participants for certain collection and recycling activities.
