History

EcoTech was founded in Palo Alto, California in 1992 and today serves a worldwide market from its Sunnyvale, California offices.

Operations

EcoTech recycles used and excess plastic IC trays by collecting, sorting, cleaning, inspecting, testing, and repackaging the trays for direct reuse in the marketplace. Defective and obsolete materials are segregated by base resin type for grinding, pelletizing, and use as filler stock in the production of new materials.

These materials may be marked with the "7" OTHER recycling mark. Used and excess plastic IC trays will be found in both semiconductor companies and at any location where electronics are assembled, tested, or repaired. EcoTech provides collection and shipping services for the reclamation of these materials. EcoTech services a global market depending on volumes made available for reclamation.
