Timeline for the FY 2011/12 Grant Cycle

September 13, 2011 Question and Answer Period and Deadline
  • Questions must be submitted by email only.
  • All answers will be posted approximately ten days after the due date.
September 28, 2011 Application Deadline
  • Applications must be submitted via GMSWeb by this date.
  • Technical assistance will only be provided until 5:00 p.m. on the application due date.
October 28, 2011 Resolution, Letter of Commitment, and Environmentally Preferable Purchases and Practices (EPPP) Policy Deadline
  • If the resolution or letter of commitment is not submitted with the application: The approved resolution must be uploaded in GMSWeb by this date.
  • If the applicant does not have an EPPP policy at the time of application submittal: An EPPP policy must be adopted and notification must be uploaded in GMSWeb by this date.
February 2012 Conduct Random Selection Process to determine order of applicant funding.
February/March 2012 Grant Awards: CalRecycle considers funding recommendations, and if approved, awards grants.
April 1, 2014 Grant Performance Period: Grantee may incur costs from after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed to this date.
April 1, 2014 Deadline: Final Report, Final Payment Request and Request for 10 percent withhold.

These Terms and Conditions are applicable only to the specified cycle and/or Fiscal Year of the particular grant program specified.

Disclaimer: These Procedures and Requirements are in draft form. Upon issuance of Grant Agreement, these Procedures and Requirements shall become final.

The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the Procedures and Requirements prior to issuance of the Grant Agreement. Any such changes will be non-negotiable. In the event that any changes are made to the Procedures and Requirements, all Grantees will be notified as to what specific changes have been made.
