The three Rs are in the order of sustainability: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Therefore, your first step when planning a shopping trip is to ask yourself if you really need what you’re planning to buy. Food for dinner? Of course! That cute, inexpensive top that will stretch out after a few times through the laundry? Maybe not. Whatever you decide, at least consider these tips and try to adopt a few. Remember, there is really no “away” when you throw something “away”--it’s still right here on our favorite planet in one form or another.Posted on In the Loop by Heather Jones on Apr 23, 2019
