SACRAMENTO–The California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovering will hold a workshop this Tuesday, Feb. 16, to discuss the negative impacts of global market conditions on commodity prices for recyclable materials. California businesses, governments, and other stakeholders are particularly affected by the recent downturn given the large volume of recyclables collected in the state. This highly interactive workshop will give all stakeholders a forum to express concerns, obtain input, and develop potential policy solutions through small group discussions.
